most of you know i work part time and am super lucky to be off on wednesdays and fridays with my little man. he is just getting more and more fun every day!
now that school is back in session around here declan gets to watch the school bus again. he LOVED it when he was a baby and used to watch it every morning with our nanny. Bus was his first word, and i think it came well before mama and dada. after breakfast we race to the front door and sit on the steps and wave to the kids. it is really cool that the elementary school bus stop is the sidewalk in front of our house. they always say hi to declan and then he gets all crazy when the bus pulls up. on this particular morning he also wanted to do some sweeping and general milling around in his pajamas. he also insisted that i put his hat on his head (he can't do it himself). i love summer mornings, all the moms stick around after the bus pulls away with their coffee and chat.
UM, i know he's into the schoolbus but this can WAIT please!!!

an Elmo backpack, of course! He looks like he is ready for school-Oh no!! not already! I wonder if he will be so attached to hats like his Uncle Andy was at that age. remember the old cowbot hat??
Quentin has those PJs! But he usually wears the shorts.
Declan sure does look ready for school!
