so i work on a team with three other gals and two guys. the two FAs we work for set specific goals for each person to hit and if we hit them throughout the course of the year we get to go on an incentive trip. it is kind of like a mid-year reward trip and i can speak for the other girls that we appreciate this gesture SO much!!! it is out of their pocket and something very generous that they do for us. everyone on our team is so nice and we work hard but once in awhile get to play hard too! that is what this weekend is all about. last year we hit up the ritz in chicago and did shopping, dining and saw jersey boys. it was hard to leave declan for a whole long weekend when he was only 9 months old but they did great without me!
this afternoon i am packing and we are heading down to west baden springs resort in french lick, IN. it is a teeny tiny small town with two gorgeous renovated resorts: french lick and west baden. a true luxury get-away! we plan to meet up with our summer intern, sara, in bloomington for dinner tonight and head down south after that. we look fw to perhaps some pool time, spa time, casino time and dinner on the veranda tomorrow night. just girls! i would also like to ride a horse which i think i have done once as a kid but i'm not even sure.
this weekend tim has lots of ideas for him and declan to stay busy and i'll be home sunday afternoon. i'm sure they'll have a fun weekend too!
