we were extremely lucky to have my mom visit for an extended weekend. i needed some help in the childcare dept for a few days while our regular nanny is in california selling her malibu beach house. yes, that is not a typo.
mom stayed through the weekend and even babysat saturday night so tim and i could go downtown to oceanaire for a belated anniversary dinner. it was awesome, couples with kids should always make time to get out on dates!
i came home from work monday to clean folded laundry, a clean guest room, dinner in the oven and the table set before my mom hopped in the car to head back to michigan. she made tator tot casserole which is a favorite around here! she really made it look easy! we all got a little spoiled having mom/grandma around this weekend. thank you mom for all you do, we enjoyed having you here!
