i thought i'd be posting pictures and a recap of our fun weekend with tim's sister, her husband and their three kids who took a road trip to indy to visit. slight setback. our babysitter called in sick this morning so we flipped a coin who would stay home. mid-morning it was clear we were both sick and declan was as well. i'll spare the details, some sort of gastro/flu bug, nasty. i can't do anything but lay down or lounge, the baby is too heavy to lug around at the moment.
no pictures either, i'm still in my pajamas from yesterday if that paints a picture.
sounds like our sitter is still sick and i'm not feeling so hot so tomorrow is another sick day in bed. those of you with kids, you know sick days with little ones are not as fun as they used to be when feeling under the weather meant getting out of work and catching up on daytime tv. i must be better soon b/c tina is getting married on friday.

welcome to parenthood! every parent has a vomit story and now you have yours. hope you are all feeling much better real soon.
It's no fun being sick as the mom, when you're expected to take care of a child, especially one that's also sick.
