winter

it was only 14 degrees here today (balmy compared to windy winter in chicago, i know)and i had to run to the grocery store with the baby. i received a cute handmade knit sweater and hat from my first shower from a family friend, helen. i bundled him up and he was smiling and laughing so i had to prop him up for a few shots. looks warm doesn't he?!

some people have noted that we don't have any pictures of me with declan. that is simply because i am always the photographer! here's a shot of us one evening this week just hanging out. in the past few days i have heard he looks like me (for the first time), especially his mouth. we're not sure? time will tell and i'm sure he'll change every week.
